I recently finished a web design and development project for a company selling Magento themes.
Wow! a project without a client, how enjoyable it was to work on my own design ideas without having to worry about the client and their business (designers and developers out there will know what i’m talking about!). I designed and developed the Magento site from scratch which started with some research, sketches, wire-frame and then a complete PSD. I included some bespoke customisation with the theme, a product slider, which is easily manageable in the admin area of Magento.
Living here in London not only do i get to benefit from visiting a massive variety of galleries, museums and events related to design, i also have been working for some fantastic agencies who are very enthusiastic about Magento and how it can be used as a basis for a very bespoke and innovative e-commerce site. As a London Web Designer and Developer I often work with agencies and private companies. Feel free to get in touch to discuss any Magento projects you need a hand with!

As a freelance web designer who is looking to work with ambitious and innovative agencies who can consult and bring projects in on time, on budget. If you would like to book me and you are based in and around Central London, then drop me an e-mail.
Valid, semantic, well structured XHTML built to the latest web standards alongside contemporary CSS styling.
As a freelance web designer my reputation and the quality of my work is most important. Bespoke design is at the core of each and every project undertaken. What suits one client/project in terms of design doesn’t necessarily suit another, each project gets full attention and care. Custom development is performed for each project to ensure your website doesn’t have to compromise on any aspects of your requirements.
I’m experienced in bespoke PHP/MYSQL development from simple CMS’s to large systems. You may also wish to utilise an opensource framework such as Codeigniter for PHP or Rails for Ruby, the idea is that a framework will reduce the development time and cost as well as offering up-to-date functionality. If your in need of a bespoke website or web application in either PHP/MYSQL or in Ruby on Rails then get in touch.
A new CMS is on the scene (for me at least). As my experience and client base grows, im finding that WordPress has reached it limits for taking on more complex projects such as Community content generated websites, enterprise applications and complex content management sites. Best of all Drupal is free, flexible, robust and constantly being improved by hundreds of thousands of passionate people from all over the world. I’m not too interested in the war of WordPress Vs Drupal, but for certain projects i think Drupal has the power and flexibility that WordPress will never have, however i do love WordPress (particularly the way it supports web standards) and will continue to use it for more simple blog/publisher websites.
After so much new web development recently with Ruby on Rails and some PHP with codeigniter, it’s good to get back to some old fashioned design principles working on a PSD prototype for a London based fashion label. The prototype will eventually include extensive notes on usability and functionality stemming from an early Wireframe I created using the excellent Omnigraffle. Check back soon me little duckies, on this little blog for some screenshots of the design.
I recently finished a web design and development project for a large fast food chain.
Maryland chicken are the fastest growing independent fast food chain in the UK and they have big ambitions to keep expanding. I worked for PR agency 79Pr to give this client an on-line presence that included some nice JQuery effects and a fast loading crisp design.
